Awake In Satin

Satin has always been known as silk’s cheap friend, which is rather rude, but also seriously true. Not to mention the way silk feels on your skin – talk about luxury! Silk and satin are two fabrics that have long been associated with sleepwear, but even way before this whole pyjama trend became a day-time affair, these two materials were transforming our everyday attire. It’s great for those days that aren’t-too-hot-but-also-aren’t-too-cold, as the lightweight fabric gives you the air your skin needs, while also covering up. Plus these red satin pants just up the ante to any outfit, whether it’s work, cocktail hour, or just lounging around the house. Whoever said you can’t be comfortable and chic had never tried transforming their pyjamas into daytime ensembles. The best part about this look? You can literally roll out of bed, pop on some heels and a blouse (or go all out and keep your pyjama top (trust me, it’s stylish)), and voila you’re set for the day!
